BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
(Investment Bank Grade)
JOB PURPOSE Following the transfer of the previous incumbent to the middle east a vacancy has arisen within the Business Development Unit of the Private Bank. The role is to market and sell the Private Banks services being Trust & Corporate, Investment and Banking on a local and international basis either directly to the Group's customer base or indirectly through intermediaries. The main market to be focused on by the jobholder is the Banks Plc network in the U.K. but international travel may be required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PROFILE · A sound business development/relationship management background in Trust & Corporate business which will typically have been obtained through a minimum of ten years experience. Trust and corporate knowledge/background is a must as the jobholder will be seen as a specialist in this field. STEP or other related qualification would be preferred. · A good understanding of Investment and Banking related services would be desirable together with an Investment qualification such as FPC or equivalent.

· An understanding of UK and international tax practices would be of assistance.
· Initiative and innovative thinking to develop Group services to meet the complex wealth management requirements of the Group's top customers.
· Ability to work under pressure, organise, manage, analyse, negotiate and meet tight deadlines.
· Willingness and ability to travel to the UK with limited notice and for extended periods. International travel may also be required.
· Experience in drafting, reviewing and commenting on legal and technical documentation.
