IT Application Support Technician

Job opportunity:
IT Application Support Technician

Overview:
To provide user support and problem resolution across a range of software applications. Reporting to Application Support Manager

Skills:
To provide user support across a range of technologies including: MS Office Lotus Notes Citrix Basic Windows NT/2000 and networking Strong communication skills and customer focus Good problem solving skills
Display initiative Potential requirement to travel

Previous experience required:
Experience of front line user support in a similar technical environment

Brief Summary of the Clients IT infrastructure Abacus have invested heavily in IT to support their various business activities across multiple offices. Key technologies utilised include Microsoft NT/Windows 2000, Citrix, Oracle, Lotus Notes, MS Office and Crystal Reports. It is a varied and challenging environment offering interesting careers and opportunities.
